Mrs. Hummel says: “One of our favorite conversation topics with friends is what we want our kids to learn before they head out on their own, from folding a fitted sheet to starting a fire to cultivating the habit of daily devotions. These books provide a lot of great inspiration for what to teach your kids next.”

1. Deduckto. Mrs. Sova says: “Deduckto has quickly become a favorite card game for our family! It says ages 8+, but our six-year-old holds her own when we play. We love the silly character disguises and how we get to use logic and deduction skills to try to win.”
